Is VibeSEO a replacement for Otterly.AI?
For monitoring what ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode answer about you, yes. Otterly covers two engines VibeSEO does not monitor (see the engines FAQ below), so pick by the engines that matter to your customers. If you want SEO tools next to it, the SEO + GEO plan adds site audits, Search Console and content tools to the same account.
What is the main difference?
Engine coverage and scope. Otterly.AI is a focused prompt tracker; VibeSEO reports each engine on its own with brand perception and the full saved answer, and adds an audit of whether AI crawlers can reach your pages.
Which AI engines does VibeSEO monitor?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Each engine is collected and reported separately; there is no averaged score. Perplexity and Claude are not monitored as answer engines. Their crawlers (PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot) are checked in the GEO Audit, which tells you whether they can fetch your pages.
How often are the answers checked?
Daily. Every active question is asked on every engine you selected once a day, and each answer is saved in full. A change on your site or in a model shows up the next morning, and you can look back over 7, 30 or 90 days per engine.
Can I use VibeSEO GEO from Claude, ChatGPT or an MCP client?
Yes. VibeSEO is listed as an official Claude connector (Able SEO by VibeSEO in Claude's connector directory) and as an official ChatGPT app, and the same MCP server at https://mcp.vibeseo.dev/mcp works with Cursor, Claude Code and any other MCP client. Connect once with OAuth and ask for your AI visibility, cited sources or saved answers in plain language, next to the SEO tools already exposed there.

Every new account starts with a free trial, and the trial includes one GEO preview: up to 30 questions, 120 answer checks on the engines you pick, and 7 days to read the results on every screen. Daily monitoring needs the GEO Pro plan.
