Model Context Protocol ยท AEO/GEO by VibeSEO

See how AI answers mention you,ย from inside your AI assistant.

Connect the GEO server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or a CLI client. Then ask which brands ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI answers name for your questions, how you compare with competitors, which pages they cite, and run fresh checks when you need them.

A second server, built for AI search.

The VibeSEO MCP server covers classic SEO work. This one exposes the GEO product: the questions you track, the answers AI engines give, and what those answers reveal about your brand. Same account, same OAuth sign-in, a separate catalogue.

Ask about answers, not rankings

Visibility, share of voice and position are measured from the answers themselves, with the sample size attached to every number.

Same data as the app

Every tool reads or changes the same project the VibeSEO app shows, so a check started from chat appears in the app and the other way round.

Authorize securely

OAuth keeps access tied to your VibeSEO account. Paid actions preview their cost first and can be disconnected from the app at any time.

See it in action.

Ask like you would ask a teammate who watches AI answers for you. The server calls the right tools and returns the numbers with their context.

Prompt

"How visible is my brand in ChatGPT answers this month, and where did we lose ground?"

AEO/GEO by VibeSEO

VibeSEO reads the 30-day overview and the competitor deltas

  • Mentioned in 41% of measured answers, down 6 points on the previous window
  • Average first appearance: position 2.4 behind one competitor
  • Two topics carry the drop; both are comparison questions

The GEO tool surface.

The server maps to the GEO workflow inside VibeSEO: set up, check, read, compare, and keep the daily monitor honest.

Status & setup

Check whether a project is configured for GEO, what the account can run, and the state of daily monitoring.

Topics & questions

Topics with their market, tracked questions, and the competitors tracked in answers.

Checks

Estimate the cost, collect fresh answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, and follow the batch until it settles.

Answers

Every collected answer with the brands it mentions, the own-brand position, the full text and the sources it cited.

Visibility analytics

Visibility, share of voice and position per brand, engine and topic over 7, 30 or 90 days, with competitor comparison.

Sources & gaps

The sites and pages AI answers cite, which brands each page mentions, and the independent pages that name competitors but not you.

Brand perception

How answers characterise your brand: the tone, the recurring associations and objections, and the answers behind each.

Crawler access

Audit whether OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic and Google crawlers can reach and read your pages, with a fix per check.

How a check runs from chat.

Collecting answers is real work on real engines, so the server is explicit about state, cost and timing.

  1. Step 1

    Status first

The assistant reads the project status. If GEO is not configured yet, it sends you to the web onboarding instead of guessing.

  2. Step 2

    Estimate, then start

A check is previewed for cost and eligibility before it runs. Each question on each engine costs one credit.

  3. Step 3

    Answers arrive in minutes

Collection is asynchronous. The assistant polls the batch until no run is pending, usually within one to ten minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Read, compare, act

Answers, overview, competitor comparison, cited sources and gaps are all one question away, on the same data the VibeSEO app shows.

Getting started takes a few minutes.

Configure GEO for a project once in the app; connect the server once per client.

  1. Step 1

    Pick your client

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, or any HTTP MCP client. The directory listings connect in a click once they are live.

  2. Step 2

    Add the GEO server

Use the server URL below. It is a separate server from the SEO one, so an assistant that only needs AI-search tracking gets a focused catalogue.

  3. Step 3

    Authorize with OAuth

Sign in with your VibeSEO account and approve access. Authorized clients can be disconnected from the app at any time.

  4. Step 4

    Ask about AI answers

Visibility, competitors, sources, fresh checks, tracked questions and daily monitoring, in natural language.

Questions? We have answers.

How is this different from the VibeSEO MCP server?

The SEO server covers keywords, domains, backlinks, audits, Search Console and the content workflow. The GEO server covers AI answer engines: tracked questions, collected answers, visibility and share of voice, cited sources and gaps, and daily monitoring. Both use the same account and the same sign-in; connect one or both.

What does a check cost?

One credit per question per engine, on GEO Pro and on SEO + GEO alike. The assistant previews the cost before starting and can reuse an idempotency key so a retried request is never charged twice. Trial accounts spend their preview allowance instead.

Can I set up GEO from the assistant?

Not yet. A project is configured once in the web onboarding: brand profile, competitors, topics and the first questions. After that everything, including new topics and questions, works from chat.

Which engines are tracked?

ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Answers are collected through a data provider and stored with the sources they cite so reports can be recomputed when your brand settings change.
