How to connect VibeSEO to Claude
No config file, no tokens to paste, nothing to install. Here is the whole flow.
Open the VibeSEO listing
Go to the VibeSEO connector in Claude's directory — listed as Able SEO by VibeSEO. You can also find it from inside Claude under Settings → Connectors.
- Prefer a custom connector? Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, MCP server URL https://mcp.vibeseo.dev/mcp, authentication OAuth.
Connect and authorize
Click Connect. Claude opens a VibeSEO sign-in; approve access and the connector is linked to your account. That is the whole setup — the authorization persists across conversations.
- Claude shows a "Community" reminder first. That is Anthropic's review label for third-party connectors, not a limit on what this one does.
- On a Claude Team plan without connector permissions you get a Request button instead, which sends it to your admins.
Ask for SEO work in plain language
In any Claude conversation, ask for the work you want. Claude calls VibeSEO tools and answers with real data:

Approve before anything publishes
Drafts land in your VibeSEO queue. Claude can prepare, schedule, and revise them, but you approve what goes live — and you can disconnect the authorization from VibeSEO → AI Agent at any time.

How do I connect VibeSEO to Claude?
Open the VibeSEO listing (Able SEO by VibeSEO) in Claude's connector directory and click Connect, or browse the directory from Claude → Settings → Connectors. You authorize once with OAuth and it links to your VibeSEO account. If you would rather add it by hand, use Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector with the MCP server URL https://mcp.vibeseo.dev/mcp and OAuth authentication.
Which Claude plans support connectors?
Adding VibeSEO from the directory works on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise, and it does not use up the one-connector allowance that applies to hand-added custom connectors on Free. On a Team or Enterprise plan, members who cannot enable connectors themselves see a Request button that sends it to an admin for approval.
Why does Claude label it "Community"?
Community is Anthropic's review label for connectors built by third parties: it passed Anthropic's automated checks, but Anthropic has not reviewed it in depth. The label affects how a connector is displayed and discovered in the directory, not how it works — once connected, a community connector behaves exactly like a verified one. VibeSEO is the official connector we build and run; Anthropic did not build it and does not endorse it.
Does it cost extra to use VibeSEO from Claude?
No. The connector is included with any active VibeSEO plan — there is no separate MCP or connector fee. You only pay for Claude (Anthropic) and VibeSEO on their normal pricing.
How is this different from Claude Code?
Same tools, same directory. This connector covers Claude on web, desktop, and mobile — and Claude Code picks it up automatically when you are signed in there with the same claude.ai account. If you work in the terminal, you can also add it directly with one CLI command; see the Claude Code page.
Which SEO tasks work best in Claude?
Conversational, judgement-heavy work: topic shortlists, audit triage, GSC trend reads, content briefs, and reviewing drafts. For one-shot bulk operations you can also batch through Claude, but the sweet spot is interactive analysis.
Is my SEO data exposed to anyone else?
OAuth ties access to your VibeSEO account, and you can revoke the Claude authorization at any time from VibeSEO → AI Agent. VibeSEO only shares data with the assistant you actively authorize, and publishing still requires your explicit approval.
